ABOUT THE POSITION
Columbia Sportswears dynamic global supply chain consists of 4 distribution centers, 430 retail stores, 80 apparel factories and 20 footwear factories worldwide. We pride ourselves on being able to get products to market quickly, safely, and in the most cost-effective manner. By leveraging data analytics, we are constantly pushing to make smarter business decisions and identifying innovative ways to make Columbia Sportswears supply chain more efficient and effective to meet our consumers ever-changing needs.

As the Sr Business Process Analyst for Supply Chain Returns, you will be responsible for orchestrating process improvement to reduce consumer returns across the portfolio of brands. You will interact with cross-functional leadership and subject matter experts leveraging data analysis to determine solutions that will reduce consumer returns, improve the consumer returns experience, and inform product merchandising and design. This position requires an individual with a strong background in process improvement and a proven ability to work with and influence a cross-functional team to significant business results. In this position, the keys to success are an ability to think from a consumer's point of view, gain alignment through collaboration, and utilize key project management concepts and tools to plan, guide, monitor and document continued improvement activities.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCEOrchestrate all activities in the entire project life cycle, including definition of objectives and scope, plan development, task definition, forming project teams, coordinating and meeting with stakeholders and participants, monitoring progress, driving progress through to completion, status reporting, and project documentation.
Effectively lead cross functional interview sessions to gather and elicit information from functional managers and their staff on Supply Chain processes and opportunities for improvement. Distinguish user requests from user needs.
Be a visible business advocate, representing, anticipating and influencing business requirements and interests across the Supply Chain functions.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements through automating manual processes and optimizing overall process for greater scalability.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with a diverse group of business stakeholders, gaining an in-depth understanding of the business, to support the prioritization and delivery of solutions.
Engage proactively, constructively and creatively with partners and internal stakeholders to identify and help prioritize unmet customer needs.
Collaborate with Supply Chain Analytics to ensure that end-user reporting requirements are captured, and internal reporting tools are validated on the finished product.
Utilize skills/knowledge in technical and business writing, business process flow, business process modeling, business analysis and testing various methodologies.
Understand technical concepts and communicate to business in non-technical language.
Validate and assess solution design throughout the project with business stakeholders; identify problem areas and provide recommendations for future enhancements.

YOU HAVE A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools (i.e. Visio, Azure Dev Ops, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite), systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.
3-5 years of experience in Project implementation (including testing, cutover, validation and production support) desired.
Knowledge and experience with operations excellence concepts and tools such as value stream mapping, business process re-design, six sigma yellow belt, lean thinking and organizational change management. Certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of principles, concepts, and theories within Supply Chain and the ability to train & develop other team members on this knowledge.
