ABOUT THE POSITION

As the Sr Retirement Program Specialist you will be a key member of the Total Rewards team, responsible for meeting the global strategic goals of HR. Here you will apply your expertise in retirement plans, 401K, excess plan administration, and strategic alignment across our global footprint.
Your program ownership will be end to end, including the design, overall health, and global usage. You will be assisted by a partnership with the Total Rewards Experience team to ensure communication is delivered to Columbia Sportswear business segments and employees in the right way. You will also collaborate on program feedback to implement any necessary changes and improvements.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Maintain daily administration of plans, including working with employees to understand plan rules, vendor relationships and system alignments for integrations and payroll deductions
Review programs annually to determine intent, usage of program, risks, and opportunities for enhancement. Work with the Experience team to determine regional or business needs are met. Plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget and timing for new program initiatives. Understand the regulations and criteria for your program
Work across the HR function for annual processes and planning program adjustments and process monitoring. Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic planning and review and prepare action plans
Analyze program health as well as ensuring program intent is being delivered. Share the analysis with TR Leadership and appropriate stakeholder across the company. Responsible for financial costing for plans which may include annual costs, annual projections, implementation costs of new programs, cost savings, ROI, and analyzing variances. Partner with Finance to ensure strong fiscal stability for all programs
Work with the Sr Total Rewards (TR) Leadership to strategize, implement and maintain program initiatives that adhere to the CSC global objectives. Plan changes for the following plan year which may include but not limited to RFPs, Vendor Management, Audits, and Global Retirement alignments across countries
Update documentation including program documents, plan documents, inventory of plans, overarching employee collateral. Continuously looking for improvements to the programs, processes and daily functions
Ensure eligibility and criteria for configuration of programs are updated within Workday system

Hands on, capable of jumping into ambiguity and guiding teams to new ways of thinking and best practices
Analytical and detail oriented, drawn to in-depth research and critical thinking to recommend and fine tune solutions
Strong Communication capabilities

YOUHAVE
Bachelors degree in human resources, or other business-related field, or applicable certification or equivalent experience
Skills and expertise in benefit retirement programs, and the integration of knowledge into strategy and daily administration
Familiarity with the laws and regulations related to retirement programs
Experience managing vendors and day to day relationships
Understanding of organizational/corporate functionalities
