ABOUT THE POSITION

Asia Footwear Costing, we aligned with Company strategies and adhesion with finance target, supporting all related functional team with reliable costing information, driving for decision making.

This position will coordinate efforts & communicate with factories, HQ and LO functional teams on all costing related issues, identifying and evaluating the cost breakdown details accuracy, targets for fair but competitive costing and timely submit seasonal costing information. Assist Costing manager and team in tracking cost savings, costing suggestion, cost comparison & analysis.

This position will be located in Zhuhai, China.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Act as a liaison between HQ functional team and factories to ensure the costing related inquiries are well received and responded to in a timely manner.
Ensure all costing timelines are met fully: First adoption / Second adoption / Salesman Sample / Production / SMU/Outlets/L4L.
Assist manager to establish costing standards, and monitor compliance which related to: labor and overhead rates, material consumption measurement, raw material and component pricing.
Identify areas of opportunities to maximize margin and for continuous improvements, Drive product cost reduction where appropriate by partnering with Materials and Planning.
Assist to develop and maintain costing tools to assure costing accuracy within acceptable range. Provide cost target or standard cost to support Initial Purchasing negotiation.
Support with costing manager on handling some semi or full independent projects.
Support team and individual growth and empowerment through sharing of knowledge. Educate and train counterparts in the organization and factories on the absolute need for accurate costing.
Take initiative in ensuring costing processes and results meet business requirements and objectives, drive process improvement. Create and maintain costing tools aimed at monitoring and improving the efficiency of costing process knowledge and skills required by the job holder including.

YOU ARE
Good interpersonal, Communication and negotiation, presentation skill.
Excellent sense & memory on numbers and data.

YOU HAVE
Bachelors degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
8 - 10 years of experience in costing or development in Footwear.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Good command of MS Office (word, Excel and PowerPoint).
