ABOUT THE POSITION
Department: The Quality Dept. is the key contact for Quality Process Management of the South Asia Region source base comprising of India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. Ensure Right First-Time Quality through product and process engineering. Coach / Train / Drive the Vendor Base on an end to end Quality Embedded Value Chain' to ensure Consumer Satisfaction. Influence & engage the Vendor to adopt effective and efficient manufacturing & quality management techniques that positively impact their processes. Ensure Columbia Sportswear Company products meet and exceed customer, consumer, and governmental expectations and regulations through the application of preventative based quality processes and tools.

Position Introduction: The Quality Process Specialist is an Individual contributor for developing Quality and Process Engineering methodologies, Conducting Factory Process Assessment, Product Risk assessment, Identifying Process Enhancers at Factories used by Columbia Sportswear Company, and collaborates with them on continuous improvement projects. The Quality Process Specialist coaches, trains and drives the Brands empowerment programs at Vendors and provides on the job training to other team members and Vendor Quality teams. The QPS has high visibility and impacts Sourcing decisions.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE- Ensure Brand & Regions Expectations are delivered by,
Establishing Product Performance standards, through Upstream Product Risk assessment process.
Delivering Quality Readiness by certifying Input, monitoring inline and validating output at a style level.
Proactively Identifying & addressing the potential failures caused due to design, raw materials & manufacturing.
Resolving Non-Conformance Issues and Customer Complaints.
Advising Manufacturing teams on best practices, principles, and standards for products and process.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and design quality processes within the Region.
Building strong relationships between Home Office, Liaison Office and Vendor.
