ABOUT THE POSITIONThe North America Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team focuses on our outlet, brand, and employee stores within the US and Canada. From merchandising to retail marketing to retail operations,there is a highly collaborative team working behind the scenes to ensure our consumers have a positive experience in our stores.

The Retail Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Manager to create, execute and evaluate annual marketing plans for Columbia Brand Stores. In this role, you will build brand enhancing programs that focus on increasing location awareness, driving measurable traffic and increasing conversion rates.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCECreate, communicate and executeannual marketing plans that supportBrand Marketing& Retail Marketinginitiatives.

Develop and execute Paid Media, Search and overall Digital execution to overall KPI and traffic growth

Partner with internal departmentsand external agenciestodevelop andexecuteintegrated marketing programsto drivetraffic to retail stores. Seeksupportand collaborationwithmultichannel team includingBrand,In-store Marketing, PR, Promotions,Social Media, Merchants,Ecomm,Community Relations and Creative.

Manage, maintain and collaborate cross-functionally on Seasonal Calendars and promotions. Cross functionalseasonalalignment withProduct Merchandising, In-store Marketing, Digitaland Store Operations with annual retailmarketing communications plan.

Develop programs to be managed and implemented at store level to allow localization of marketing efforts bystore staff.Establish and maintainCommunity Marketing Programtolocal grassroot marketing programs within Brand store locations. Close working relationship with Store Supervisors.Create, communicate internally, seek alignment from manager,retailoperations teamandultimately execute GrandOpeningmarketing plans for new Brand Stores.Responsibility 7

Build strategic relationships and develop a strong referral base for branded stores.Represent Columbia,at external events includingtravelingwith or onthe behalfof theRetail Marketing Teamto selected events or sponsorships

ManageColumbiaGift CardProgram including visualcenters and Programs with eCommerce, In-Store, Retail Operations Partners, Finance, Production and B2B partners


YOU AREAn excellent communicator (written & verbal)

Able to work under pressure, meet tight timelines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Flexible, reacting positively to change

Able to display good judgment

Able to lead and coach team members to meet and exceed sales targets.


YOUHAVE5-8 years experience with retail marketing

Strong ability to think strategically and big-picture to understand business goals, while also possessing exceptional creative capabilities and attention to detail to implement marketing plans at a national, local and tactical level.

Previous experience building programs focused on driving traffic and increasing conversion.
