ABOUT THE POSITION
Columbia Sportswear Finance teams oversee the financial health and forward strategy for a portfolio of four global brands. These teams exercise expertise across Compliance, Accounting, Credit, Financial Planning and Reporting, Tax, Treasury, and Strategy. Advancing traditional Finance & Accounting functions, the organization is also driving exciting innovation in the application of advanced analytics and automated intelligence.

As an Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) Analyst/Designer you will play a key role in providing the foundation to deliver full and accurate automated solutions. You will identify and scope automated solutions through identification of business process automation opportunities, automation requirements gathering and completion of feasibility assessments. Within this role you'll design, test and aid deployment of automation process solutions in support of strategic initiatives and operational excellence. To accomplish this, you will serve as a liaison with the Business teams, the IPA development and GIS (Global Information Services).

You will build strong partnerships with regional business stakeholders in one or multiple functional areas to gain a thorough understanding of the processes identified for automation and to ensure value from these services is captured, realized, optimized and recognized. Although your primary focus will be the identification and design of automated process and system solutions, you'll maintain a working understanding of end-to-end enterprise systems processes, enabling influence across the enterprise to support business and operating requirements.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Engage with the business to conduct process assessments in order to identify, prioritize and streamline business processes that are potential candidates for automation, including justification of automation and business benefit.
Gather requirements related to systems analysis, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and on-going production support
Collaborate with process owners to document business detail and processes for successful automation
Partner with business owners on user acceptance test (UAT) documents, identifying all the process scenarios and expected outcomes
Maintain automation documentation according to standards, best practices and standard operating procedures

An exceptional communicator, liaising and bridging the knowledge variance between technical and business focused teams

Skilled at business and systems project advancement; organized and capable of managing activities for timely completion of initiatives while balancing multiple projects, changing priorities, and non-negotiable deadlines

YOU HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computer Science, Business or Information Management or equivalent experience
3+ years progressive experience in business process and system analysis, requirements gathering, and application implementation
Applied knowledge of business process automation application and/or processes
Preferred experience with Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Automation Anywhere (AA). Alteryx and/or PEGA a plus
Working knowledge of macros and HTML, and advance knowledge of business applications implementation (preferred)
