ABOUT THE POSITION
As a DTC Sales Analyst, you'll be responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and reporting on direct sales performance. This role partners with Performance Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, and Analytics to understand and model direct sales with accuracy. This role will also synthesize Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Marketing, Sales, and Merchandising insights into objective findings that identify trends and opportunities.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Forecasting, Business Planning, Reporting:
Own and enhance tools to create and maintainannual topline demand plans down to thedaily level across channels and customer segments
Partner with Planning to ensure demand plans align with the sales forecast at the seasonal and product line level
Partner with the Performance Marketing team to ensure channel marketing plans sufficiently support the topline demand plan
Regularly update demand projections in accordance with finance calendar, change in promotions, key events, or market trends
Track and report out on promotional and marketing campaign performance, providing insights annually to aid in future planning
Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports
Support implementation and maintenance of automated sales reports and dashboards
Sales and Expense Data Management and Analysis:
Maintain eCommerce data integrity across multiple platforms including but not limited to web analytics platform, retail POS, prAna SQL Analysis server, and BI visualization platform
Assist manager and department lead in developing presentations that analyze sales activities and business performance for executive meetings and department presentations
Support Performance Marketing team:
Analyze catalog results
Analyze email and email test results
Analyze digital channel level marketing performance
Support the development and execution of a self-funded marketing model
Proactively monitor and translate performance marketing analysis into actionable insights
Regularly update P&L tracking document with actual sales and expense data, keep the team informed on how we are trending to plan
YOU HAVE
Bachelors degree in business or quantitative field preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, or quantitative field
3 to 5 years of experience with Financial Planning, Modeling and Analysis
Strategic thinker, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience collaborating with multiple business units, applying business acumen to data trends and providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Experience forecasting basic financial scenarios based on % growth estimates and annual comparison data.
Proven ability to interpret and plan using the fundamentals of financial modeling.
Strong understanding of eCommerce KPIs.
Advanced Budgeting/Forecasting skills, building financial models, leveraging Microsoft BI Tools.
Strategic thinker, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
