ABOUT THE POSITION

In Global Brand Marketing, we focus on our consumers behavior, and create experiences around the globe to build their connection to our brand. Whether its media strategy, brand/product storytelling, content creation or partner activations, the consumer is at the heart of everything we do. And, we continue to stay true to our brand, even as we evolve to meet the demands of the ever-changing landscape.

Our Global Brand Marketing team is looking for an International Marketing Project Manager who will act as the primary liaison for an assigned business group. This person will apply thorough knowledge of the business group needs and knowledge of systems technology to identify and design improvements for computer based systems while ensuring that all concerns and ramifications are considered before implementation.


HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Work with end users in analyzing structure and flow of work through unit and recommends changes to improve operations. This includes gathering information and identifying their needs in reviewing existing procedures, and developing recommend new ones.

Work on assigned projects or operating systems to identify and resolve system conflicts and problems.

Develop and maintain new procedures that promote interdepartmental communication and efficiency.

Gather input and output requirements from users and develops systems requirements and project flow diagrams.

Coordinate functional requirements of business unit and technical solutions with systems personnel to develop the most cost effective solution.

Analyze reports and procedures and assist in determining most effective use of computer and employee resources.

Submit and track both modifications and enhancements to internal software applications including approvals, notifications, estimates, etc.

Assist in developing test scenarios for new or modified programs based on needs analyses.

Develop schedules and conduct employee training sessions that provide general awareness and specific knowledge needed to understand and fully utilize data processing systems.

Prepare, modify, and distribute documentation to end users for reference and training purposes.

Work with division heads and super-users to develop business strategy and system requirements.

Lead the project team in creating and adhering to implementation timelines, oversees testing, bring the system online, and ensure users receive appropriate training.

May manage budget associated with a specific project.

Maintain positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.



YOU ARE
Experienced in project management ranging from small system implementations to major key system initiatives.

Proactive and assertive in follow through with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Able to read, write and speak English, including the ability to speak to groups of varying sizes as teacher or trainer.



YOUHAVE
Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field, or work experience equivalent to a degree.

5-8 years experience in progressively responsible positions providing management support by analyzing business processes, team project participation, and providing advanced level of systems support and analysis.

Advanced technical abilities which may include programming, debugging and/or code review along with a demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts and conduct complex interpersonal interactions often involving moderately to highly complex or technical topics.

Ability to create and implement sound business strategies and provide leadership to a diverse group of business partners.

Advanced knowledge of data processing and general business principles in an office environment.

Excellent team building skills and techniques to lead projects from inception through successful implementations.

Physical capability to lift up to 15 pounds, sit for extended periods and bend, knell, stoop and operate telephones, hardware and software including keyboard.
