Job Description
Columbia Sportswear Japan is seeking a professional for Talent Acquisition/ Training to join our fast paced and exciting team. You will be expected to demonstrate recruiting best practices to support our talent acquisition and people development efforts.

Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition

Initiate best tactics/ approaches to direct source, attract, recruit and select high-quality candidates against defined criteria.

Use innovative sourcing channels to convert hard to find passive talent including social media, resume mining, diversity resources and networking

Collaborate with Hiring Managers in both office and retail and HR Manager to develop a strong understanding of the department culture, business strategy, and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business

Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications and compensation requirements

Engage all phases of recruiting activities including temp staff placement in retail & office in collaboration and execute open positions in a very timely manner.

Engage new graduates recruitment from planning to executions as planned.

Delegate recruiting activities to Store managers and assistant managers by providing necessary tools and manuals.

Develop various reports such as HC, recruiting update etc.

Training Management and Operation

Work with HR manager on new employee orientation plan according to the new employee onboarding trend.

Work with HR manager to collaborate with global team regularly to maintain the training contents.

Manage regular training operations and ensure the learning experience of employees.

Identify training needs of the company as well as each division and reflect them to a training plan for CSJ together with HR manager.

Identify and organize resources needed for training delivery.

Work with HR manager to design and provide additional tools and resources that support development per request of business leaders.

Facilitate appropriate content, if needed.

Share knowledge, HR trends, and experiences to execute best practices enterprise-wide







Knowledges, Skills, Abilities:
A minimum of 5years recruiting and L&D experience in retail indisutry.

Extensive experience developing and executing fully comprehensive recruitment plans

Direct Sourcing experience

Ability to facilitate content and or agendas.

Excellent client-facing skills with the proven ability to respond proactively to client needs

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication

Ability to exemplify company values and share those values with our candidates

Demonstrate strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills in both in English and in Japanese

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, act with Integrity

Creative and innovative thinker

Strong execution ability and drive for result

High demand of English

Bachelors degree and above.


Others:
Excellent working knowledge and skill of MS office (Excel, Word, Power point etc.)

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workloads toremain on calendar

Detail oriented & accountable to deliverables
