ABOUT THE POSITION
The IaaS Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing infrastructure production resources; providing engineering, administration, and support service; and developing and maintaining an effective technology infrastructure from a full lifecycle perspective. Success is delivering a stable, predictable but innovative product with a mindset of delighting the customer

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
Manage and mentor a team of 10 or more infrastructure engineers and serve as a point of escalation for customers and team members for troubleshooting of technical issues.

Manages vendors to provide network, security, engineering, and support systems. Manages escalations to both vendors and internal support organizations for timely recovery of systems and services.

Leverage the team to provide global 24x7 production support for data-intensive storage, compute, and networking environments

Define and gather metrics to measure the overall effectiveness of the infrastructure team while tracking the delivery of quality customer service. Reviews performance and effectiveness of engineering teams and services.

Oversees and coordinates all tier 2 and 3 infrastructure support and engineering across the organization.

Develops and maintains documentation supporting corporate and building operations.

Plans, assembles and tracks annual budgets for corporate infrastructure systems.

Contributes toward the development of standard operating procedures in all areas of influence; continues to find new ways to improve quality and efficiency.

Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.

As required ensure that all areas of IT/Facilities activities and processes are in compliance with SOX and similar controls.

Develops and implements methods to measure and report on infrastructure or apps/services performance and reliability

Continually pursues knowledge in the profession which is key to the success of the team and role

Participates in financial performance (budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and spending)

Optimize services to achieve enhancements in performance, capacity, and availability while achieving cost optimization

Possesses a delight the customer mindset and have 3-5 years of management experience

Customer service focused to improve enabling the business with IT solutions


YOUHAVE
Working knowledge and proven platform experience in Windows, Linux, VMware, EMC and Cisco platform systems. Experience with Cloud, PaaS and SaaS platforms a plus. Experience with legacy IBM mainframe/minicomputer a plus

Working knowledge and proven experience in Cisco LAN, WAN and data center networking systems. Experience with SDN, SD-WAN technologies is a plus

Professional, effective written and verbal communication skills. Understands the concept of communicating early and often and conducts ones self accordingly.
