ABOUT THE POSITIONThe eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for the relentless improvement of the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.

The eCommerce Retention Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist that will help Columbia North America build a best in class consumer retention and lifecycle experience. This role is a key contributor to the North America retail and digital marketing teams. You will join a fast-paced environment that is tasked with driving sales, building brand perception and consumer retention across a multi-channel environment including web, retail stores, and various marketing platforms.

HOWYOULLMAKE A DIFFERENCEAssist the retention team with executing lifecycle and email automation program strategy to meet revenue and acquisition goals.

Brief and manage the creative process for all automation journey touchpoints.

Key end user of the email platform & related systems that will be used tocreate and deliver targeted emails and promotions, build triggered events/communications and enable social lifecycle retargeting.

Assist with the building of analytics such as engagement, lifetime value, and brand affinity to demonstrate program effectiveness and progress against industry benchmarks.

Key end user of the platform reporting tools; assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews of the programs across all brands. Reports are powered through Emarsys, Microsoft report builder, Microsoft PowerBI, Dynamic Action, Excel and web tracking software (Omniture Analytics).


YOU ARECapable of building strong cross functional relationships, especially to build and execute the consumer lifecycle experience across multiple platforms (web, in-store, email, SMS and social)

Well-versed in time management and attention to detail.

Passionate about digital marketing


YOUHAVE1-year professional experience in eCommerce, Marketing, Loyalty, Email programs or related fields.

Experience working with a web analytics program and/or marketing technology platform is preferred.

Omni-channel experience (working between online and offline/retail business units) is preferred.

Previous experience with corporate reporting systems, CRM/Email platforms or online analytics is a plus.
