ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear focused company, technology is central to everything we do. Columbia Sportswears Global Information Services (GIS) teams enable an IT infrastructure across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.

The Data Analyst designs, develops, implements, maintains, and continuously improves information security practices across the digital landscape based on data analytics, statistical analysis, and enterprise information security risk and information management practices. This role solves complex problems that impact multiple systems and programs.

HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCEExplore opportunities to develop predictive analytical capabilities, including the strategy and tools necessary to support our Cyber Security program.
Ensure alignment across multiple teams to implement, maintain and manage solutions through an analytical lens using data analytics, statistical analysis, information security risk assessment, and information management practices. Develops global processes and solutions that align to information security strategy and best practices.
Support and lead the creation and monitoring of analytics to assist in assessment and development of treatment plans, mitigation of threats, and to minimize risk.
Support and leads development of clear and actionable metrics to ensure systems operate acceptably within security standards and variances are detected and addressed quickly. Creates, updates, and monitors program metrics to evaluate risk and overall program effectiveness across the organization.
Collaborates with peers throughout CSC to ensure metrics are appropriately collected and interpreted.
Creates dashboards, presentations, and other means of communication to articulate recommendations to a variety of audiences, including IS leadership.

YOU AREAble to collaborate with key partners to understand/identify requirements, drive knowledge into action and support data driven decision making
Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
Able to tell stories with data
An analytical thinker and problem solver, able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users

YOU HAVEExperience in leveraging data visualization and dashboarding techniques to make complex data more accessible, understandable and usable to drive business decisions and outcomes.
Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypotheses and make recommendations.
Experience in defining new measures, and the translation of business goals into quantitative metrics and reporting.
Experience designing or building actionable metrics
Experience using Power BI or other data analytics tools
Knowledge and interest in the Information Security space preferred
