Job Summary & Responsibilities:
The marketing manager for Dew Tour will have a proven track record on how to identify and market to the key target audiences across all mediums. Must have the ability to optimize campaigns using data and analytics and experience in driving event attendance and consumer revenues. Candidate should have a track record selecting musicians and artists for major event collaborations. The candidate should be comfortable as the sole contributor creating the strategy and executing against that strategy as well as have the ability to develop professional decks for Dew Tour high level presentations and support in development of partnership sales collateral and proposal decks in collaboration with the Dew Tour Partnership Director and ASN Group VP of Sales and Marketing team.
The Marketing Manager, Dew Tour will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:
• Develop and execute a cohesive go-to-market strategy for Dew Tour event property (media, on-site, creative, PR, etc)
• Execute a national and regional strategy:
• Driving Tune-in, digital engagement, ticket sales, and live attendance
• Grassroots marketing (street teams, poster/flyers/, etc)
• Shop and/or influencer program
• Local media buy
• Social buying and optimization
• Oversee and execute against the development of creative for ALL campaigns including copy, video, photo, etc
• Oversee and execute against the development of Dew Tour’s paid VIP program
• Oversee and execute against the Dew Tour music strategy (talent, ticketing, etc)
• Oversee and execute against the Dew Tour merchandise and e-commerce strategy
• Management and oversight of media buying across all platforms
• Close collaboration with music talent buyer and agents for coordinated promotion of Dew Tour music experience
• Daily/Weekly optimization of overall marketing programs to ensure success
• Work directly with Dew Tour PR manager on cohesive strategy
• Work directly with Dew Tour’s content team on video or still assets to support marketing
• Work directly with Dew Tour VP/GM on development of high level presentation decks for Dew Tour
• Work directly with Dew Tour Partnership Director as well as ASN’s Marketing teams on Dew Tour Sales Collateral
• Ensure all Dew Tour channels (digital, social, etc) are all up to date for attendees, live-stream and broadcast info
• Manage and oversee and provide insights into data-driven reporting across PR, Social and advertising on a regular cadence
• Manage all internal and external creative reviews and approvals as it pertains to marketing materials
Education/Experience:
• Candidate must have a bachelors degree
• 4-10 years related experience in marketing and event marketing (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Experience with creating compelling go-to-market plans for event specific properties
• Action Sports knowledge and event experience required
• Experience with ticketed event marketing
• Experience with creating professional presentation decks
• Able to manage deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns.
• A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly
• Ability to learn the latest platforms, technology tools, and marketing solutions to convert into marketing partnerships
• Comfortable w/ data and analytics and reporting (PR, Social, Digital, Media, etc.) and using data to inform a marketing strategy
