We are seeking a highly-motivated Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our growing Bike Specialty Team. This person will report to the Global Sales Director for Bike Specialty and the position will be based in our San Diego, CA. offices.
Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative will assume the following roles and responsibilities:
• Drive revenue growth by aggressively pursuing new dealers and fill-in orders in defined geographical region
• Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
• Travel to key markets and annual trade events to generate new business
• Manage and maintain customer purchase orders for small to large retailers and distributors
• Assist sales reps with daily requests and coordinate sales strategies
• Respond to incoming emails and phone calls in a timely manner
• Assist sales management with reporting and additional administrative functions
• Handle incoming retail warranty requests and customer service questions
• Review reports and analyze for open order status and shippable dollars
• Interact with related departments to problem solve
• Other duties may be assigned as required.
Experience / Qualifications
• Minimum 2-years experience in similar position
• Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals and achieve sales quotas
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written
• Able to react in both positive and negative situations in a professional and courteous manner
• Must be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Must be organized with the ability to manage and prioritize an extensive workload
• Must be professional, punctual, reliable and flexible with working hours
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to learn GP & Sales Pad
