Ogio is looking for someone to manage and direct the entire OGIO business (P&L) on a global basis. Fulfill and manage all aspects of market research, product planning, product development and product production resulting in a smooth & profitable seasonal product process. Initiate and maintain clear product and strategic communications.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
⏵ Manage all aspects of product design, development, sourcing & production, from concept to the retail floor.
⏵ Build and manage outside R&D talent to ensure new developments are designed and work properly.
⏵ Manage outside design talent ensuring that accessories products are fresh each season.
⏵ Consistently communicate the OGIO product plan & progress globally.
⏵ Approve all regionally specific OGIO product from the subsidiaries
⏵ Develop and manage the strategic plan and process for each OGIO product category.
⏵ Further develop direct sourcing model for the design & development of OGIO product.
⏵ Assist with OGIO product development for Custom Logo businesses.
⏵ Manage budget for OGIO product cost center/department.
⏵ Establish and maintain a product development and calendar process.
⏵ Oversee product forecasting, buy plan and inventory management to maximize sales and minimize obsolescence.
⏵ Brief product and marketing efforts with clear direction for each category across all brands.
⏵ Work on-site (mostly in Asia) to develop technologies and innovations built from scratch.
⏵ Visit factories to ensure correct & timely product development and production quality.
⏵ Drive Marketing and Promotional spend for Accessories categories.
⏵ Interface with Sales to ensure clear product programs and representation at retail.
⏵ Present OGIO product to sales force & key accounts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
⏵ Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing related field.
⏵ Minimum of 4 years of Product Management/Development or Business Management experience.
⏵ Soft goods experience a plus.
⏵ Leadership experience required
