About the job
Dogtown Skateboards is looking for a helpful, friendly, Warehouse Associate and Creative Liaison for our busy warehouse in Hawthorne.
Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail highly regarded. A pleasant demeanor, a can-do attitude, and professional work ethic sought after. In this position you will be responsible for manual work in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of goods and, materials. It is imperative to be on time and work with accuracy and sense of urgency to be successful in this position.
It would also be helpful if the applicant has knowledge of the skateboards industry and experience with Adobe Creative suite and light Html skills is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Warehouse experience a plus
* Must be able to lift, pull and push
* Good work record, timely and eager
* Must be a good communicator
* Must pay attention to detail
* Must have reliable transportation
* Must be a team player
* Must assist in keeping all work areas clean and safe
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite

About Dogtown:
The Dogtown Cross as created by C.R. Stecyk III first came to public light on the pages of Skateboarder Magazine in 1976. It was soon applied to skateboards in the way of innovative art and paint designs by Wes Humpston and Jim Muir. In 1981 Mike Muir moved in with brother Jim in his Venice home. Shortly thereafter Mike formed Suicidal Tendencies and Skate Rock history was born. Fast forward 40+ years later and Dogtown is still pushing wood. Five years ago Jim Muir and Mike Muir brought the brands back together under the distribution of Dogtown X Suicidal coming full circle as a family business again like it was back in the 1980’s. DTxST is skater owned and operated and you can count on our knowledgeable skate staff, customer service, quality of goods, and timely accurate deliveries shipping straight from the source. Our only crime was being original and we are Possessed To Skate after all these years.
