ElliptiGO Sells 20,000th Elliptical Bike; Rolls Out Two New Models to International Markets
ElliptiGO Inc., creator of the world’s first elliptical bicycle, announced today that it has sold its 20,000th elliptical bike and has launched the Arc 3 and Arc 24 models throughout the European Union.
“It took us more than five years to sell our first 15,000 bikes, but just over one year to sell the next 5,000,” said Bryan Pate, CEO of ElliptiGO. “Expanding our Arc product line has generated a lot of new interest in elliptical cycling, and that has translated into sales growth for the company. Now that we’re taking these products across the pond, it’s an exciting time for ElliptiGO and our customers.”
The new models, which launched in the U.S. in March, join the Arc 8, the company’s top-selling bike. Combined with the original long-stride models – the 3C, 8C and 11R – ElliptiGO now offers six different models targeted at fitness enthusiasts, current and former runners, and other people looking for fun, low-impact outdoor exercise. ElliptiGO bikes are distributed through specialty running, cycling and fitness retailers across the country.
