San Francisco, CA- (September 28, 2004)

Flow, the San Francisco based manufacturer/distributor of snowboards, bindings, and boots, announced today, the hiring of new sales reps in four territories.   Acting on the need for stronger coverage in certain territories, Terry DeLeo, Vice President and General Manager of Flow, decided to bring on rep groups in the New England, Mid- Atlantic, Southeast, and Rocky Mountain territories.

“Flow has been growing rapidly, with significant increases in sales in bindings, boards, and boots, rep support to the retailer becomes essential to the success of the brand sell through.  With such growth, the company needs an increased sales force to adequately provide customer service to existing accounts and at the same time broaden distribution,” commented DeLeo, “Flow is rapidly becoming a serious competitor in the market, not only in bindings, but boards and boots as well, this requires more education for shops, which in turn requires the added sales coverage.”

The territories which have been affected are as follows:

Flow has been producing innovative snowboard products since 1995.  As the originator of the reclining high-back binding, Flow introduced to the world a new wave of binding technology.  Viewed as revolutionary in design and function Flow is swiftly infiltrating the market and being viewed as the “future of binding development.”  Over the past nine years, Flow has become known for ease of use, comfort, and advanced control gained when using their bindings.  Most recently, the company has seen huge success in the sudden growth of all it’s product lines, seemingly defying the state of the market today.
