DC Girls Program Hires New Girls’ Marketing Manager

Vista, CA…….Amy Botts has joined the DC Shoes staff in a newly created position as Girls’ Marketing Manager for DC Shoes. Amy will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies to include advertising, web, athlete/celebrity endorsements, and promotions, while strategically positioning the DC Girls’ division globally. She will work closely with female team riders and develop DC’s presence at action sports and related lifestyle events.


Amy says about joining DC, “I have long been a fan of DC and have believed there is huge potential in the girl’s market for the DC brand.  DC has always been larger than life and I’m very excited for the opportunity to come onboard with such a talented crew and help market DC’s top-of-the-line product.  Plus, you can’t beat perks like retreats to the Mtn. Lab!”


Amy comes to DC from a solid history in the girl’s marketing realm as well as athlete relations and promotions management. Amy had success in helping to grow the juniors division at Billabong where she oversaw the girl’s marketing program. Previous to that, Amy held positions as Client Marketing Manager and Director of Athlete Relations and Special Events at The Familie for four years, where she developed relationships with corporate sponsors as well as action sports’ top athletes and events.
