DC Appoints New Girls' Sales Director


Vista, CA…DC Shoes, Inc., the leader in performance skateboarding shoes, has announced the appointment of Michelle Nelson as Girls’ Sales Director for DC. Michelle will be responsible for managing and developing a dedicated sales team, solely focused on growing and selling the product line for the Girls’ Division of DC. She will work closely with Amy Botts, Girls’ Marketing Manager and Stacy Dye, Girls’ Product Manager in bringing a comprehensive product line to market each season. Michelle will also work closely with DC’s key accounts in bringing the Girls’ Division of DC to life at retail.

“I am very excited about my new role as Girls’ Sales Director for DC,” said Michelle. “As a sales rep I was able to work very closely with the retailers in what they want and need from a brand in the girls’ market.  I look forward to taking this information and using it to grow the Girls’ Division of DC and also working with the team to bring our consumers what they want.”

Michelle joined DC in 2004 as the East Cost Rep for the Girls’ Division of DC, having previously been Director of Sales and Marketing for Analog Clothing, a division of Burton. Prior to this, Michelle held senior management positions as Director of Sales for Split Clothing and Dwindle Distribution.
