Palmer Snowboards Debuts Revolutionary New Boards

Palmer Snowboards Debuts Revolutionary New Boards

P-Line - Developed to Simplify Snowboard Selection Process – And Platinum LE – Most Expensive Board Ever -Will Be Released at SIA.06

DENVER, CO…January 20, 2006… In addition to Palmer’s full range of 2007 boards, they will be unveiling two unique and drastically different board concepts at the Snowsports Industries of America trade show in Las Vegas next week.

In an attempt to simplify the consumer retail process, Palmer Snowboards is launching a new line of snowboards designed to alleviate the confusion of selecting a snowboard on all levels – from buyers to retail sales staff to the ultimate consumer.

The P-Line, Palmer’s most recent addition to their already extensive product line, will debut at the SIA.06. Created with ease of selection in mind, the P-Line features all the performance and quality Palmer is known for, without the confusing technical terminology and riding-style distinctions.

Historically daunting and intimidating, selecting a snowboard can often be more difficult for the consumer than actually riding one. Most snowboards require the rider to determine their “riding style” before they are even on the mountain. The new P-Line boards don’t make any distinction between freeride, freestyle or all-mountain, they are simply designed for people who just want to ride, making it an excellent recommendation for everyone.

Designed with timeless colors and graphics, the P-Line boards are clean and simple with a modern design. The white collection is available in sizes 146 and 150cm while the black collection comes in sizes 154, 158 and 162cm.

On the other end of the spectrum is the new $1,900 Platinum LE. The Platinum is 100% carbon and is the benchmark of Palmer technology, innovation, playful performance and style. It’s also the most expensive snowboard ever produced. The ultimate in lightweight performance, the Platinum LE features all the benefits of carbon: rocket-fueled rebounds, powerful acceleration and dampening, creating the best Palmer experience to date.
