ATTENTION ALL ARTISTS – HERE’S YOUR CHANCE TO BE FEATURED IN THE NEXT 686 ACE SERIES! 
IRVINE, CA—February 16, 2006 — Are you one of those people who is constantly drawing pictures in the fog of the gondola window? Do you spend your days off the snow sketching, dreaming of the day your big break will come and everyone will know how talented an artist you are? 686 wants to give you the chance to bask in the limelight. Submit your artwork and if chosen, your designs will be featured on a 2007-2008 ACE Artist Series jacket and pant!
The 686 ACE (Artist Collaboration Effort) brings artists from all different spectrums together into the world of technical apparel. ACE is based upon the concept of working with artists to feature their original designs in 686 jackets and pants. The ACE line provides both technical and fashion-forward garments for variable riding conditions. Past ACE artists include such notables as Shephard Fairey, Dalek, Yogi Proctor, Jim Houser, Andy Howell, Nin Troung, Jamie Reid, Rich Jacobs, Bigfoot, Marc McKee, Caroline Hwang, and Andy Jenkins.
Here’s the fine print. Submit a sample of your work in JPG or PSD format (small files only please!) to [email protected]. Submissions will be accepted until March 1, 2006. Make sure you include a photo of yourself along with a bio and a short explanation of where your inspiration comes from.
