IRVINE, CA – On Saturday March 25th at California’s Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort, Forum Snowboards will host the highly-anticipated World Finals of its 4th Annual Forum Youngblood Contest Series.
From 10 AM – 4 PM, seventy of the world’s best male and female amateur riders will duke it out on a custom-built slopestyle course with hopes of taking home this year’s Forum Youngblood Series championship crown. Judging will be handled by Forum’s team of pro riders, and the overall winner will not only walk away with the coveted title, but he or she also may earn a spot on Forum’s Youngblood Amateur Team and appear in Forum’s eagerly-awaited new team video “THAT” which is slated to release Fall 2006.
Now in its 4th year, the Forum Youngblood Series is widely recognized as the top amateur snowboarding contest series for 18-and-under male and female riders hailing from North America, Europe and New Zealand. For the past eight months, over three-dozen regional contests (approximately 90 competitors at each) have taken place at leading resorts across the nation and around the world, with the best male and female rider from each event earning an all-expenses paid trip to compete in Saturday’s Forum Youngblood World Finals.
The 4th Annual Forum Youngblood Series is made possible in part through generous support from first-time sponsor Snickers and media partner Synthesis Magazine. To find out more, please visit www.forum-snowboards.com.
