Save the Right for Fires on Ocean Beach, San Francisco

Save the Right for Fires on Ocean Beach, San Francisco

Several new laws have been set to limit areas where we can have fires on Ocean Beach. We can NOT lose the right all together. (current rules: http://www.nps.gov/goga/clho/ocbe/)

Fires at Ocean Beach have always been an essential part of the culture of San Francisco!

The Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) is now considering BANNING ALL FIRES on Ocean Beach as soon as June 2006.

San Francisco residents want your help:

We can stop the ban, by doing our part and submitting public comments on the GGNRA proposal by May 31st.

With your help we can post public comments and explore alternative solutions.

Please join me in writing the GGNRA and spreading the word about this important issue.
