Collective International, LLC Announces New Licensing Agreement in Canada for Airwalk and Vision Street Wear Brands
(ENGLEWOOD, CO) July 10, 2006- Collective International, LLC, (Collective) owner of Airwalk and Vision Street Wear® recently signed a new apparel license for both of these youth lifestyle brands in Canada. Collective has entered into a five year license agreement with Toronto-based Randy River through its subsidiary, a division of International Clothiers. Randy River will design, market and sell Airwalk and Vision Street Wear® branded apparel exclusively throughout Canada.
Currently with 65 stores across Canada and still expanding, Isaac Benitah, President and CEO of International Clothiers, plans to market the brands throughout its stores beginning in Spring 07. “The heritage of the Airwalk brand speaks to the ultimate boarding culture and the legendary Vision Street Wear brand has a very edgy, underground essence,” said Benitah. “We are very confident that these highly recognized brands will be successful in all of our Canadian retail stores.”
Established in 1986, Airwalk is recognized worldwide as one of the world’s original action sports brands and is distributed in 105 countries. Vision Street Wear launched in 1976 is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year as one of the most recognized skate brands globally. Airwalk and Vision Street Wear are managed by Collective Licensing International, led by President and CEO Bruce Pettet, in conjunction with strategic license partners across the globe. “With the strong history behind these two brands and the newly formed partnership with Randy River we will definitely see an increase in apparel sales and brand equity for both Airwalk and Vision brands,” said Pettet.
