Transworld Announces Key Sales Staff Promotions

TransWorld Media, a subsidiary of Bonnier Corporation, is pleased to announce that Liam Ferguson has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. Additionally, Adam Cozens and Danny Lee have been promoted to Associate Publisher of TransWorld SNOWboarding and Eastern Advertising Director, respectively. Previously, Liam served as Advertising Director for TransWorld SURF and TransWorld SNOWboarding. Danny formerly served as TransWorld’s New York Account Representative, and Adam was previously TransWorld SNOWboarding’s Sales Manager
Liam Ferguson joined TransWorld Media in 1999 as Director of Sales and Marketing for SKATE and SURF where he managed the largest increase in ad pages and revenue in TransWorld SKATEboarding’s history. In 2002, Liam was promoted to Associate Publisher of TransWorld SURF where he oversaw advertising sales and managed the SURF brand in conjunction with the Editor-In-Chief. Prior to his tenure at TransWorld, Liam served as Marketing Director at Redsand, where he successfully repositioned the brand away from the declining volleyball market and into the more profitable beach lifestyle arena. Previously, Liam was responsible for sales and the marketing effort at Surfer Magazine from 1990 to 1994.

Danny Lee began his tenure at TransWorld Media in 2004, serving as the Advertising Account Manager for the New York region. In this position, Danny was responsible for managing a NYC based non-endemic sales team covering the eastern United States. Prior to joining TransWorld, Danny worked as an account executive for Architecture Magazine and other design trade magazines. He began his career in publishing as an inside sales representative for Field & Stream in 1998.
Adam Cozens joined TransWorld SNOWboarding in 2004 as an Advertising Account Executive. In 2006, Adam was promoted to Advertising Sales Manager where he managed significant growth across all of TransWorld SNOWboarding’s sales territories. In his new role, Adam will oversee all aspects of TransWorld SNOWboarding’s business operations, both print and online as well as events.
