Factory Design Labs Hires Ted Wardlaw as Director of Client Strategy
Wardlaw to Lead Business Development in Sporting Goods Sector

Denver, CO - August 8, 2007 - Ted Wardlaw has joined Factory Design Labs as Director of Client Strategy specializing in the sporting goods sector. Originally hailing from Taos, NM, Wardlaw is an avid skier and cyclist.

Wardlaw has spent the last 12 years in a variety of roles in the snow sports business; writing, developing and marketing products, mentoring athletes and creating sponsorship opportunities. Most recently, Ted was the Sports Marketing Manager at Salomon North America. With eight years at Salomon on both the product and marketing teams, Ted assembled the most successful Freeskiing team in the business.

"Factory has real industrial expertise in the sports category. Ted adds a new layer of intellectual property that will allow us to expand our base of brands and maintain our high level of strategic planning and service," said Scott Mellin, CEO of Factory Design Labs.

Wardlaw will be leading the Business Development team in the sports and lifestyle segments. He attended Holderness School in NH, and then the University of California at Santa Cruz.
