ASR's LineUp Magazine Goes to All Digital Format
Revamped digital LineUp, expanded Show Preview and new Daily Magazine assist buyers in building an even more productive 3-days of business
Action Sports Retailer Expo, ASR, is revamping and increasing avenues of communications leading into the January event. To ensure the most up-to-the-minute information is available to buyers, the industry’s phone book, the ASR LineUp will now be produced in an all-digital format. Additionally, an expanded Show Preview and ASR Show Daily will be available during ASR events.
“The relevance and speed makes the new digital ASR LineUp a win-win for both buyers and manufacturers,” says Andy Tompkins, ASR Show Director. “We understand that as ASR grows, it’s becoming more challenging for attendees to follow all the events and news on the floor relevant to their businesses. These three products are being designed explicitly to help buyers, media and exhibitors make the most out of a trip to ASR.”
The ASR LineUp has become the leading industry reference book for retail buyers looking for new action sports and youth culture brands, contact info and trends. A digital format makes the LineUp more fluid. This allows for more timely information, higher exhibitor participation and staying power as a lasting reference tool. The LineUp will be accessible to all of the industry at www.ASRbiz.com and entry points throughout the industry starting in December 2007.
An expanded show Preview, which includes the schedule of events, seminars and a detailed floor plan, will be even more helpful when planning out the full, three days of ASR. The printed, pre-event Preview, which arrives to buyers approximately two months before the show, will now feature expanded show content.
Once in San Diego, attendees can turn to the new ASR Show Daily magazine for the very latest news, brands to watch, events and trends for the coming season. Each day the ASR Daily will be available in hotel lobbies and throughout the San Diego Convention Center.
In addition to market relevance, ASR’s LineUp, which was previously printed entirely on recycled paper, will now have even less of an impact on the earth. “Producing a digital ASR LineUp has many service benefits, but the green aspect is an added blessing,” continues Tompkins. “ASR is committed to hosting an environmentally friendly event, and further reducing paper products and waste is a huge step in the right direction.”
