Transworld Business Partners with ActionWatch
ActionWatch becomes key information supplier for industry’s trade magazine

Transworld Business recently signed an agreement with ActionWatch for the market research program to be a key supplier of industry data. The ActionWatch data will be used to support feature articles in the trade magazine as well as supply data for a regular featured column currently titled “Core Retail Report.”

Cary Allington, co-founder of ActionWatch, adds, “Our partnership with Transworld turns the volume up a couple more notches for the voice of the independent surf/skate retailer. Many industry manufacturers are already using ActionWatch data to help them better serve this vital retail channel. Now even more industry players will be listening to these retailers as a portion of the data is presented every month in Transworld Business.”

The ActionWatch Retail Panel currently includes over 120 surf and/or skateboard retail stores and is growing each month. Participating retailers receive access to a set of reports which are made from the aggregated data of all retailers on the panel. The reports are updated each month and give retailers information to which they can compare their own stores. The reports also help retailers understand how brands are performing outside of their own stores.

Retailers also benefit from participating in ActionWatch because they are helping to guide their suppliers without having to provide manufacturers with confidential sales data. Retailers’ individual store data is completely confidential and only available after being merged with data from all of the participating retailers.
