Ocean Minded Introduces Croslite™ Material into Select Products

Ocean Minded, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Crocs, Inc., is excited to showcase the use of Crocs’ proprietary closed cell resin Croslite™ material in the footbeds of select Ocean Minded™ products. These new styles, which will be available in Spring/Summer 2008, can be viewed in the newly designed Ocean Minded tradeshow booth, #1755, at Surf Expo January 11-13.

The first Ocean Minded™ product to incorporate the Croslite™ material will be the Seaweed sandal (MSRP $35) for men and women.  The men’s version will be available in eight color-ways, while the women’s Seaweed comes in four. Both will be available in Spring 2008 and are soft, lightweight, superior-gripping and odor resistant.

“We are pleased to introduce Crocs’ proprietary material, Croslite™, into our products,” said Gary Ward, founder and President of Ocean Minded.  “We will now be able to combine extreme comfort with natural and sustainable materials in our footwear”.

In addition to the introduction of the Spring ’08 line of footwear, Ocean Minded will debut their first-ever t-shirt collection.  The offering includes men’s and women’s 100% organic cotton t-shirts (MSRP $28), featuring brand-driven graphics.  All are ringspun for extra softness.

The Ocean Minded™ brand was acquired by Crocs, Inc. in 2007. Today, Ocean Minded operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Crocs, Inc. and its employees continue to live the Ocean Minded lifestyle by actively leading beach clean-ups, and educating their customers on the importance of leaving the ocean and all waterways in better condition then when they were found.
