Making Change Happen: Marrying Philanthropy & Marketing

How should companies incorporate the ever-growing demand for philanthropy into their existing marketing plans and brand identities? Is there ever a "right time" to branch out into charitable giving, or is it always appropriate and timely? Is it better to build a stand-alone charity arm, or to use an existing brand image as a launching pad? How and why do companies make the leap into philanthropy when times are tough?

The next group Y panel discussion will cover these topics and more on the evening of Wednesday, October 22nd at Quiksilver's world headquarters in Huntington Beach, California. Our expert panel will examine and discuss their strategies, findings and personal experiences in the hybrid world of action sports and giving back.

group Y is excited to be hosting a knowledgeable and experienced group of panelists, including:
Kim Novick, Development Director, Tony Hawk Foundation
Julie Cordua, Communications Director, (RED)
