Grenade Adds to its Arsenal with New West Coast Regional Sales Manager

Grenade Gloves, a leader in action sports apparel,  is proud to announce its newest recruit to the Grenade unit, Marty Carrigan.  Carrigan will serve as West Regional Sales Manager and comes to Grenade with an extensive background in equipment, apparel and accessories for the action sports industry, with a heavy emphasis on winter sports.  Carrigan earned a degree in Marketing/Ski Business from Colorado Mountain College, and is currently on the SnowSports Industries of America (SIA) Board of Directors and United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) snowboarding committee.

Carrigan most recently served as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Boa Technology, developing and executing a global marketing plan that more than tripled its sales in three years.  Carrigan spent five years as Vice President of Sales and Operations for North America and Japan for Palmer Snowboarding, Level Gloves and Accessories, and Shaun Palmer Ltd.  During that time, he established the dealer network that launched company sales into the millions, and elevated the Shaun Palmer brand by exploring new markets such as video game licensing and product endorsements outside the company (i.e. JVC). 

While serving as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Morrow Snowboards, Carrigan increased profit margins significantly through improved processes and pricing policies.  Carrigan also balanced their core snowboard image with professional management through a global marketing plan that he initiated.  Carrigan skyrocketed through the ranks, working his way up from sales associate to sales manager, team manager, product management and international sales while on the global sales and marketing team at Hart Ski Company/Reusch Gloves/Derbyflex, and represented the U.S. Olympic team for them at three Winter Olympics.

Carrigan will manage U.S. Sales for Grenade from Wisconsin to the West Coast, as well as Hawaii and Alaska.
