Ashley Otte Drops In To Powder As Associate Publisher

Ashley Otte has been appointed Associate Publisher of the Action Sports Group’s (ASG) POWDER Magazine, the skier’s magazine.
 
“Over the past 38 seasons POWDER has been the icon for skiing featuring the best photography, editorial and perspective, second to none,” says Otte. “I feel honored with the opportunity to work with the best publishing team in the business.  With record snowfall already this year, I look forward to a great season and contributing to taking POWDER to the next level.”
 
Over the last year, Otte served as the Director of Digital Solutions at ASG developing interactive partnerships with non-endemic national accounts.  Previously, he held the position of Associate Publisher at TransWorld Media’s skiing magazine FREEZE.
 
“Ashley’s broad perspective and experience in the digital world, combined with years of experience in both the ski and publishing industries, makes him a valued resource to build the POWDER brand,” says Al Crolius, President of the ASG. “His digital expertise will help push POWDER into the future and build upon its already strong position as the true skier’s magazine.”
 
Otte graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2001. He promptly pursued his interest in winter sports media by joining Mountain Sports Media as an account executive.
