This Week on The Weekly Update with Boost Mobile: X Games 15 takes over Los Angeles, California, bringing in the best in skate, BMX, and moto. L.A. native Paul Rodriguez takes the gold medal in Skate Street as Pierre-Luc Gagnon and Rune Glifberg score gold in Skate Vert and Skate Park, respectively. On the mega ramp, Jake Brown wins his first X Games gold medal, edging past back-to-back defending champ Bob Burnquist in the Big Air final. Also on the mega, the first-ever Big Air Rail Jam finds pioneer Danny Way at the top of the podium.
In BMX, Garrett Reynolds, Scotty Cranmer, and Jamie Bestwick take gold in Street, Park, and Vert, respectively. And Kevin Robinson comes out on top in Big Air. Also on the mega ramp, Anthony Napolitan lands the first-ever double front flip in competition.
Our moto coverage includes Kyle Loza’s gold medal three-peat in Best Trick. Todd Potter wins Best Whip. And Ronnie Renner and Ricky Carmichael tie for gold in Moto X Step Up. In Moto X Freestyle, Australia’s Blake “Bilko” Williams claims the first gold by an international rider. In Super X, defending gold medalist Josh Hansen adds another to his trophy shelf, and Ivan Lazzarini wins Super Moto.
