The Focus Show: A Skateboard Tradeshow Put On by Skateboarders
Focus Skateboarding Magazine hosts Philadelphia’s first-ever all-skateboarding tradeshow, January 4th & 5th 2010
The mission is simple: provide the North East skateboarding community with a highly-productive, centrally located, all-skateboarding tradeshow, something the region has been lacking for far too long.
Not only is Philly a great skate destination and enough reason for any skater to visit, but they are also pulling out all the stops to make this show great for business, shops and vendors alike.
Being centrally located, they will bring in shops from as far south as the Carolinas, from as far north as Maine, and from as far west as Illinois.
In addition to making this show convenient, they are also making it extremely inexpensive, with discounted hotel rates in the heart of “Old City” Philadelphia, and booth prices only $400.00 a piece, including a table, chairs, internet, and electricity, it’s a steal.
Aside from the obvious convenience and affordability, they are also adding several great incentives for shops, vendors, and skaters alike; for example, each booth purchased is automatically entered into a raffle to receive a 100% refund on a booth as a prize. We are also offering a mini-ramp contest for shop riders, where in addition to the skaters winning prize money, the top finisher wins money for their shop, which must be spent with vendors at The Focus Show! We are also hosting the “Brian Tucci Holy-Hell High Ollie” challenge, with cash prizes as well as doing a video premiere, hosting both on-site and after parties, and much more!
