Lifetime Clothing FW10 Preview
Lifetime Clothing's FW10 Collection will be previewing at both Class (San Diego, February 3-4) & Project (Las Vegas, February 16-18)
This autumn, Lifetime Clothing invites buyers to journey into the dark, sobering peaks of the northern mountains. Elevated almost seven thousand feet above ground, between contrasting layers of rock and snow, lays the inspiration behind the label?s fall collection.
Triangular silhouettes cast by the mountains can be seen on all this season?s garments, and represent an over-arching theme for the
collection: a perfect balance between Spirit & Divinity. Whether it is the trim, a custom made label, tailored cut of a jacket or imagery on a graphic T-shirt, buyers will find the triangle present in some form.
The balance between Spirit & Divinity is reflected in the make of each piece of clothing as well. Strong, tailored shapes are off-set through luxe fabrics and muted colors. Classic styled jackets are reinterpreted in technical materials that allow for breathability and modern requirements of urban living.
Close attention is paid to the fact that contrasts --if paired correctly -- can form the most perfect and natural balance. And, it is in this state of balance, that buyers can find the comfort necessary to carry through another season.
Below, take a peek at the FW10 collection through a trailer directed by Salazar (whose work have been featured by NME, BBC, The Fader, Pitchfork Media, Nylon, Stereogum & Dazed Digital)
