Industry Leader in Sustainability to Return to 2010 Clash at Clairemont IV
BambooSK8 is excited to return to the PacSun Clash at Clairemont IV at the YMCA Clairemont Skatepark this Saturday, March 27th.
BambooSK8 President Geoff Koboldt stated, “We are incredibly proud to return to Clash this year, as last year’s was a huge success for us in marketing our sustainable bamboo skateboards while also helping to promote charity and help fight cancer.”
BambooSK8’s booth will feature their new and improved 2010 hybrid decks which boast a variety of designs by artists from around the world (such as Impress Design and Chaka from France and Sutsu from the UK). Their innovative decks are known – and loved – for their superior durability, strength, and pop.
BambooSK8 is also excited about the buzz around the unveiling of their latest, industry-leading innovation: hemp-infused bamboo decks. The decks, which are expected to go on sale later this year, are poised to reach a yet unbreached plateau of sustainability and performance in the skateboard industry.
The company plans to Twitter the locations of decks hidden around the park which will be free to those who find them. Follow their tweets at www.twitter.com/bamboosk8.
This year's PacSun Clash at Clairemont expects to have 2,000 attendees. There will be live music and over 50 athletes, including Tony Hawk, Andy Macdonald, Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins, Danny Way, and Bucky Lasek. The event benefits the Mission Valley/Krause Family Bike and Skate Park and the Grind for Life Inc. Cancer Charity.
The event will be at the Mission Valley YMCA Krause Family Bike and Skate Park at 3401 Clairemont Dr, San Diego, CA 92117. Gates open at 10 am and close at 5 pm. There is a $10 entrance fee (kids 6 and under are free).
