We’re knee-deep in Billabong Week! Today surfing Hall of Famer Andy Irons is back on the show to talk about his wild card entry back onto the World Championship Tour. Andy shares an inside perspective on which waves really make or break a surfer, plus he informs us of his future plans on and off the surfboard. Also, Jordan Morris and his famous Trailer Babes take a look at the upcoming film “Lottery Ticket.” And, we hang out with Billabong big-wave surfers Greg Long and Shane Dorian to find out what they’re thinking while charging the hugest sets in the world. Fresh off his move from Florida to San Francisco, Ben Gore drops in to talk about skating steep hills and good times with the Stereo Skateboards crew. Joining Ben is the ninja star himself, Shuriken Shannon. Shuriken fills us in on his first pro film part with Black Label and, of course, brings us some sick footage to prove it. And we go to the X Games to find out how Verizon team rider Mat Rebeaud is recovering from his career-threatening injury last spring. This Week on The Weekly Update:  we’re on the scene at X Games 16. Opening the show with skate coverage, in Street, Ryan Sheckler takes the gold medal. In Skateboard Park, 15-year-old Pedro Barros wins the gold medal in his first X Games appearance as a pro. In Vert, Pierre-Luc Gagnon stages a comeback of epic proportions against the highly anticipated return of Olympian Shaun White. PLG follows that right up with a gold medal in Best Trick. In Big Air, Jake Brown defends his gold medal, and Bob Burnquist scores the win in Big Air Rail Jam.
Our BMX coverage starts with an historic fourth consecutive gold medal for Jamie Bestwick in Vert. Daniel Dhers comes out on top in Park. Garrett Reynolds defends his gold medal in Street. And Chad Kagy takes home the gold in Big Air.
And finally, we wrap the show with Moto X highlights, including Travis Pastrana’s gold medal runs in Freestyle and Speed & Style, plus wins from Josh Grant (Super X), Todd Potter (Best Whip), and the heroic return of Cam Sinclair, winning Best Trick with a double back flip.
