EVENT: Skullcandy Presents The 2012 TransWorld SNOWboarding TransAM Series Finals

Skullcandy Presents The 2012 TransWorld SNOWboarding TransAM Series Finals
TransWorld SNOWboarding’s tenth annual TransAM series came to a successful close last weekend at Bear Mountain Resort. Presented by Skullcandy, jam-packed with fun from High Cascade Snowboard Camp, and supported by our dedicated sponsors Anon, Zumiez, Ride Snowboards, Coal, Drop, and Muscle Milk, this year’s tour exploded at some of the most innovative parks across the United States.

The six-stop TransAM series is not your everyday contest—it’s a no-stress, jam-format competition that allows up-and-coming amateur riders to unleash on the most creative setups they have ever laid eyes on. Kicking off in Waterville Valley, NH, and wrapping up with finals at Bear Mountain, CA, the 2012 tour touched down at Mountain Creek, NJ; Powder Ridge, MN; Park City, UT; and Northstar California, CA.

“The TransAM continues to breathe fun-filled fresh air into amateur competitive snowboarding by challenging resort park crews to build the best, most creative custom rideable features,” says TransWorld Marketing & Events Manager Christian Thomas.” This combined with the endless dedication from tour sponsors and event staff help catapult the TransAM into one of the most unique contest experiences around.”
