VIDEO: Z-Flex Releases Animal Series
For the last 35 years, Z-Flex has been the home to some of the most iconic skateboard art of all time. More specifically, the original Z-Flex Animal Series has been credited as the very first graphic based skateboards, of which, has now spawned and influenced many of the skateboard series that you see today. To celebrate its anniversary, Z-Flex will once again flex their influence by releasing the highly anticipated global release of the 2012 Z-Flex Animal Series next month.
The Original team of Jimmy “The Rat” Plumer, George “Gator” Wilson, and Dennis “Polar Bear” Agnew will be featured along with second generation “animals,” Marcello “The Bear” Vercelli, Jim “The Dog” Davey and Eric “Froggy” Anderson.
Measuring 9.75” x 32”, each complete will feature 7ply 100% Canadian Hard Rock Maple, fully dipped graphics and shredded die cut grip. Each of the six models will come with 6 ¼” powder coated Z-Flex trucks complemented by 90A Z-Pro Wheels and Abec7 Z-Speed bearings.
These boards were developed to inspire and to recall a time in which skateboarding was a revelation, and this latest edition to the Z-Flex range is a must have for any skateboard collector.
The series will officially release on April 17th, 2012 at select dealers worldwide.
