The We Heart Twins campaign first launched in Winter 2011 and celebrates “twin” models as a playful take on the vast selection of twin tips available on the site. New for this season, the brand will launch its Model Search contest which will engage consumers by inviting them to submit photos for a chance to become the next model. “Following the success of our first We Heart Twins campaign, we wanted to take it a step further this season and really engage our customer,” said Brad Kopitz, director of e-commerce marketing. “Freeskier has been an incredible partner for us and we’re honored to join forces with them once again.”


Thanks to the power of photo editing tools, the Model Search contest is open to everyone (not just twins) and will be taking submissions through October 20, 2012. The winner (or winners in the case of real twins) will be announced in November 2012, given $500 in gear and flown to the company’s studios to star in next season’s campaign photo shoot. During the shoot, behind-the-scenes footage will be featured in a live podcast as a teaser for the Winter 2013 campaign.


In addition to Freeskier’s Fall Buyer’s Guide and website, the We Heart Twins campaign and Model Search contest will appear in the magazine’s October issue and will be promoted through a dedicated Facebook page and Twitter engagements throughout the duration of the campaign.
