Broken Homme Footwear Collection with Leatherman
Press Release from: Broken Homme
For the first official product release of BROKEN HOMME, it was extremely important for us to do something special. We want BROKEN HOMME to be forever synonymous with quality, functionality, and style. Each collection will partner a contemporary and working class aesthetic to a range of classically inspired silhouettes while forever remaining to be 100% American Made. The collaboration with Leatherman, a company with parallel ethics and influences makes perfect sense. Founded in 1983, Leatherman tools are built by and for campers, hunters, fisherman, bikers and all-around outdoorsman. And their utilitarian style tools are a classic representation of an everyday necessity.
For this project we chose to design two silhouettes, a classic padded collar oxford, and a 5 hiker inspired boot. We styled both silhouettes with an extremely limited military green Horween chromexcel leather. Also both styles are built using goodyear welt construction, and are lined with Cambrelle lining for moisture and temperature control. To finish off both styles we built them on a black VIbram Gumlite outsole for extreme comfort, and functionality.
Each hiker comes with a co-branded Leatherman & BROKEN HOMME multi-tool complete with matching Horween leather sheath and carabiner.
This is a limited release of only 60 pairs of each style, which are manufactured in downtown Los Angeles, California. These styles can be found at American Rag, Pipers Shoe Parlor, Douglas Fir Feet, Convert, and Port Long Beach.
