The Bike Cooperative Adds Ellsworth As Supplier Partner
Press Release from The Bike Cooperative
Manchester, NH (Tuesday July 9, 2013) – The Bike Cooperative’s network of brand partners continues to expand with the recent addition of U.S. manufacturer Ellsworth Handcrafted Bicycles, the preeminent brand in the high-end mountain bike category. Effective immediately, members of the retailer-owned cooperative will earn additional rebates on all purchases of Ellsworth products.
“It’s always an exciting opportunity when we can partner with a brand that will provide meaningful benefits to our members, particularly when they are the leader in what they do,” said Bike Co-op president Scott Barrett. “Ellsworth has set the standard for their category in terms of quality, design and innovation,” added Nat McAllister, the Co-op’s director of supplier relations. “When you factor in that all of their products are made in the USA and that they’re actively engaged in social responsibility and sustainability, it’s a brand that our members will definitely want to get behind.”
Founder and owner Tony Ellsworth said, “Having the opportunity to be part of an established, well-organized group of people who share my passion for bikes is awesome. We love making great bikes, and we always try to improve the bike experience for all, rising above the things in our industry that often cloud the clarity of purpose. But, at the root of it all, it’s about having a rockin’ good time, riding bikes and enhancing our lives. With our recent partnership into The Bike Cooperative, the Ellsworth team will create unique offers beyond what we normally create for our valued dealers. For The Bike Co-op, this will surely show our appreciation for this partnership.”
