Smith Optics Appoints New Endurance Promotions Manager

KETCHUM, Idaho (August 13, 2013) – Smith Optics announced today the appointment of Mallory Burda as the new Endurance Promotions Manager. In her new role, effective immediately, Burda will oversee the growth of eyewear and accessories among the cycling, triathlon and running divisions for the brand.

An avid road cyclist and mountain biker, Burda brings a passion for the outdoors to her new position at Smith along with her industry experience working with retailers, athletes and consumers. She spent the past four years as the USA Sports Marketing Specialist at Specialized Bicycles, providing her keen insight into endurance sports, athletes, media, events, and key players in those markets. Her experience managing successful endurance sports marketing programs is complemented by her strong work ethic and personable disposition.

Burda will be based out of the Smith headquarters in Ketchum, directly report to Senior Promotions Manager Gabe Schroder.
