Apex Sports Group Grows Sales Force & Expands In-House Support

BOULDER, CO (August 13, 2013) – Apex Sports Group, the makers of the Apex Ski Boot System, announced today the expansion of their North American sales force with two new hires, while also retaining a new product manager and promoting a new VP of Sales for brand support.
Keith Apple joins Apex as the new Eastern Sales Manager. A former Vice President and National Sales Manager of Fischer Sports, Apple brings his 27 years of experience and ski industry expertise in working with accounts and independent rep agencies to the Boulder ski boot manufacturer. The addition of Apple to the Apex team will facilitate full time brand representation in the densely populated East.
Apex has added Peter Kennedy to service the Pacific Northwest territory as the newest Sales Representative to join the Apex Team. A native of Vermont, Kennedy has been a NW Sales Rep for over 30 years, building sales for Elan Skis, Dalbello, Atomic and most recently, Fischer across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. Kennedy brings a wide range of experience and skill to an already knowledgeable and excited sales team.
Jed Schuetze has been named Product Manager of Apex. Jed earned All American accolades at both the University of Utah and the University of Colorado Boulder, where he competed on the alpine race teams. A former assistant coach for NCAA Varsity Ski Team at the University of Colorado, Schuetze coached the 2006 NCAA championship team including four individual national champions. Schuetze is well versed in the product needs of skiers and the importance of reliable performance-based equipment.
TJ Larson, originally hired as the National Sales Manager for the brand, has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and is responsible for all global sales activity. Larson is a proven motivator and strategist for Apex, bringing in new sales representation as well as re-vamping the companies sales programs to position Apex for increased sales and brand recognition.
