September 5, 2013 (Leucadia, Calif.) – GoldCoast Skateboards is partnering with Volcom to support the 2013/2014 VQS Surf Tour that hits the beaches of California, Hawaii, Texas and the East Coast.  Volcom’s Surf Tour gives back to the surf community and makes it possible for kids without sponsors or money to compete on a local and national level. 

“Volcom has always created an environment at their happenings that embodies what surfing and skateboarding is all about! The crew at GoldCoast is stoked to support Volcom’s VQS Surf Tour by putting GoldCoast skateboards under the feet of the best up and coming surfers,” said GoldCoast’s Sales and Marketing Director, Chris Brunstetter.“

GoldCoast Skateboards is a design-driven brand that takes having fun seriously, which lines up with Volcom Stone’s VQS Surf Tour’s Let The Kids Ride Free program.  The purpose of this program is to create a unique environment, not a typical contest, but more like a gathering. It is where people can come together and hang out, without all the fees, rules, stipulations and lack of camaraderie of a normal event.
