Brunton Adds CES Innovations Award to List of Accolades, Hydrogen Fuel Cell Device Revolutionizes Portable Power Category
Press Release from Turner PR
(Boulder, CO) November 13, 2013 -- Outdoor equipment brand Brunton adds the title of International CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Award honoree to its list of accolades. The Consumer Electronics Association® awarded the honor to the Hydrogen Reactor, a ground breaking portable power device that operates with hydrogen fuel cell technology. This month, the Hydrogen Reactor also received a nod from Popular Science, winning the Best of What’s New Award Grand Honor in the Gadget category. The buzzed about fuel cell also earned three award titles earlier this year at the Spring 2014 outdoor trade shows, OutDoor Friedrichshafen in Germany and Outdoor Retailer held in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The first portable power device of its kind, the Hydrogen Reactor debuts a high-science fuel cell that combines hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity on-the-go, under any conditions. The TSA-approved Hydrogen Reactor issues a 5v 2amp output, the equivalent to 30+ AA batteries, and is optimized for use with tablets, smart phones, UV water purifiers, re-chargeable lights, portable game consoles, GPS transceivers and other USB-powered personal devices. The Hydrogen Reactor launches as part of Brunton’s new line of innovative portable power solutions, the Reactor Series, available at retail in November 2013.
