Industrial Revolution Supports Growth with Key Management Hires
Press Release from Industrial Revolution

Seattle, WA, Dec 17, 2013 - Industrial Revolution, the privately-held Washington manufacturer and distributor of essential and reliable outdoor accessories such as UCO Candle Lanterns and Light My Fire® camp kitchen products, is revamping their management team. Keeping up with the high demands acquired from steady growth, the company is expanding the roles of two inside team members, adding a new product development manager and opening doors to potential new employees.

With revenue increasing 10X in the last 8 years, Industrial Revolution has been repeatedly recognized as a “fastest growing company” by Inc 5000 and Washington’s CEOs. To better manage this outstanding progress, Graeme Esarey has been promoted to President, and will now oversee the day-to-day operations of the company. He was previously the Director of Marketing and Product Development. Owner Keith Jackson is taking on the role of CEO in order to focus on future acquisitions and the cultural and strategic initiatives of the business.

“Since I purchased the company in 2005, our revenue has grown by an order of magnitude,” said CEO Keith Jackson. “The internal changes we’re implementing in the management team strengthen the company and allow us to focus on growing it in a healthy, profitable fashion while looking forward to the next decade of advancement for our team.”

The most recent hire, Peter Pontano, is joining Industrial Revolution as the new Product Development Manager. Pontano hails from K2 Sports, where he was the Senior Design Engineer responsible for Ride Snowboard’s binding systems. Along with being named K2 Sports Innovator of the Year in 2008, Pontano has also won design awards and had patents issued to him. With a strong passion for the outdoors, Pontano melds with the Industrial Revolution culture perfectly.

One of Industrial Revolution’s main responsibilities is to take good care of their employees, and Outside magazine acknowledged this by naming them as one of 100 Best Places to Work in 2013, the second time they have won this award. Located in Washington’s Puget Sound region, Industrial Revolution’s employees are given an annual education allowance and asked to be involved in the monitoring of the company’s green practices. The company recognizes that not every decision is driven by the bottom line and they endeavor to constantly improve the sustainability, efficiency, and precision their operations.
