SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.,Jan. 23, 2014 - GrindMedia is pleased to announce several important staff promotions at two of its publications - TransWorld SNOWboarding and Snowboarder magazines. The changes at the world's two largest snowboarding titles are part of the leading action, adventure and outdoor media company's next phase of growth in the snow category following its acquisition of TransWorld Media back in May 2013.

"The reorganization is part of an overarching strategy to improve our sales staff's ability to serve and support the marketing ambitions of our advertising partners and provide our organization with greater leadership capabilities, while also maintaining the very best action and adventure content," said GrindMedia Senior Vice President and Group Publisher, Norb Garrett. "These are all very talented individuals whose experience and leadership help form the backbone of our sales and editorial organization."

The new structure includes:

Adam Cozens has been promoted to Senior Director Sales, Action Sports and will oversee revenue and sales strategies related to brands within the Action Sports Group. Those brands include: Surfer,Surfing,TransWorld Skateboarding, TransWorld SNOWboarding,Snowboarder,TransWorld RideBMX and TransWorld Business. An action sports industry veteran, Adam most recently served as Director of Sales & Marketing for TransWorld Media and brings more than 10 years of experience leading online and offline media sales and marketing teams. 

Jeff Baker has been promoted to dual Publisher of both TransWorld SNOWboarding and Snowboarder and will manage overall business and editorial staffs for both titles. Jeff’s expansive knowledge and understanding of publishing and editorial, along with 15 years of proven success, has earned him the title and he will lead the charge and take both titles to new heights.

Ryan Field has been promoted to dual Associate Publisher of TransWorld Snowboarding and Snowboarder and will lead sales efforts for both titles. Following eight years of successful growth with Snowboarder developing brand partnerships and marketing concepts, Ryan's talents and skills will only further the combined dominance of TransWorld and Snowboarder. 

Kayse Gundram expands her role to Senior Account Executive for TransWorld SNOWboarding and Snowboarder. As the #1 digital sales person at GrindMedia, Kayse will utilize her 14 years of experience to manage and grow print, digital and event opportunities.

Bryan Ellis will also expand to Senior Account Executive for TransWorld SNOWboarding and Snowboarder. As GrindMedia’s top sales executive, Bryan's vast knowledge and proven success within the surf, skate and snow industries combined with nine years experience will contribute to further growth for both titles.

Alyssa Falso has been promoted to Sales and Marketing Coordinator for TransWorld SNOWboarding and Snowboarder.  Alyssa's efforts and success with Snowboarder over the last year has earned her the role of primary point person on all sales and marketing programs for both titles. 

Pat Bridges will continue as Creative Director in charge of all aspects of editorial direction for Snowboarder with his right hand man, Tom "T-Bird" Monterosso continuing as Editor of Snowboarder managing day-to-day operations along with the rest of the current editorial team.

Nick Hamilton will continue as Content Director of TransWorld SNOWboarding leading the charge with all editorial and brand direction and Gerhard Gross continues as Managing Editor along with the rest of the current editorial crew.
