EMP: EMU Appoints Dan Singer as Vice President of North America
Australian footwear brand EMU is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Singer as Vice President of North America. Joining the dynamic leadership team within EMU's North American division, Singer will support the brand's growing retail presence and revenue growth by leading sales and playing a significant role in finance, product development, sourcing and organizational structure. Based out of Montana, Singer will report directly to North American President Jim Scholle who oversees the stateside headquarters out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Singer comes to EMU from Icon Shoes, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. At Icon, he managed three brands, overseeing regional sales agencies, opening key accounts and significantly increasing total sales volume. Prior to Icon, Singer held numerous high-level sales positions at footwear companies including ZIGI New York, MBT Footwear, Vida Shoe, Skechers USA and Rockport. He is also the founder of B&L Distribution, a footwear distribution company that has achieved sales of more than $12 million within two years.
